Here at Lennox House we want to help you enjoy life and maintain your independence. Our nursing care team will be there when you need us, and are on hand around the clock to provide a first class, caring service. A service that’s specially tailored to your needs - we get to know you, your likes and dislikes and together we’ll work out what’s best for you. Whether assisting with personal care, managing long term conditions or dispensing medication, our shared values of compassion and kindness are at the centre of everything we do. We are always available to discuss any concerns you might have about your health and will always respect your wishes and preferences. Remember, we’re here to provide joy in later years and believe it’s important that this time is cherished and lived to the full.
After the huge success of our fist Craft Café, we received funding to open our second Craft Café in Edinburgh in 2013. Run in partnership with Impact Arts, our Café is open one day a week, providing a fun, social and artistic environment. An inspiring place for those wishing to learn new skills, practice old ones or simply chat over a cup of coffee and cake. Read more about the café here.
We actively encourage social interaction and activity. We’re all part of this community and the more vibrant it is, the more fun we all have. Families and friends of residents are welcome to get involved too and we hold regular meetings to give you an opportunity to let us know how we are doing and to raise any concerns. Your contributions and suggestions are always welcome.
We always welcome visits from family and friends and you can drop by at any time during the day or evening, subject to the care and rest needs of individual residents.
We are always happy to arrange visits for prospective residents and their families

Lennox house has the feel of a grand, yet friendly family home. Large south facing windows let light flood into beautiful, recently redecorated rooms. Soft, vibrant colours and plenty of warm yellow contrast with the period features to create a sense of calm cosiness with areas of exciting interest. Bedrooms are intimate, warm and full of character and outside two enclosed gardens are alive with activity in the warmer months. These delightful outdoor spaces are real suntraps and a pond adds to the feeling of sophisticated tranquillity.
Lennox House is the best of both worlds. Calm and relaxing when you want it and exciting and vibrant when you fancy a bit of stimulation. The nurses and carers here are a happy, hospitable team who encourage fun and joy. Children and pets make frequent visits, which adds to the gentle buzz of the place and there’s always plenty going on, whatever your ability.
