Location: EH9 2HG

We are looking for an experienced and passionate chef to join our catering team.

You will need to have:

  • The ability to create a warm and welcoming dining experience for our residents
  • An engaging manner with residents and care colleagues
  • Understanding of the importance of appetising and nutritious menus
  • A good understanding of nutrition.
  • A genuine interest in the wellbeing of our residents.
  • Good understanding of HACCP.
  • An understanding of menu development.
  • The ability to manage the kitchen in the Catering Managers absence.
  • Knowledge and experience of working within budget and managing stock control.
  • Hold NVQ / SVQ or equivalent (or be willing to undertake this training).
