Meet Viewpoint's New Director of Finance

My name is Howard Vaughan and I am delighted to be joining Viewpoint as the new Director of Finance.

I am a Chartered Accountant with nearly 30 years’ experience across a wide variety of businesses from financial services to drinks manufacturing. More recently I have been working with charities supporting children and young people, providing the sound financial framework to enable the talented professionals carry out their valuable work with some of Scotland’s most vulnerable children to improve their quality of life and life chances. It is my strong belief that we should all have the highest quality of life regardless of age and it was this which attracted me to Viewpoint.

Having met Dorry, Helen, Donna and several members of the Board of Management I have been impressed by their passion and plans for the future and look forward to utilising my own skills and experience to help contribute to the development of Viewpoint. Already I sense that Viewpoint shares many of my values including, importantly, putting those who use its services at the heart of everything it does. What has also come through very strongly is the culture of fun.

May I take this opportunity to wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year and look forward to meeting you all when I join you in January.
